Recherche assistant(e) de production Vietnamien(ne) – anglais ou français courant

An established french label of eco-ethical fashion is looking for a native Vietnamese speaker Production/Office Work Assistant to join their Ho Chi Minh City team.
The role would suit recent graduates with some experience in textile or fashion industry.

The position will involve:

• Organizing the tasks in the sewing workshop following the production agenda.
• Assisting the designers (english or french language) in sourcing materials and communicating with the local suppliers.
• Communicating technical issues to external suppliers such as : printer, embroidery workshop, silk screen workshop…
• Calculating cost of product and preparing quotes for the head office in France.
• Accounting
• Booking in deliveries
• General email correspondance following up outstanding tasks, samples and prices.

  A friendly manner, excellent communication skills and a willingness to assist when necessary and a fluent english &/or french is very important. The ideal candidate will also have an understanding of garment/pattern construction, and be able to measure a garment, in accordance to a spec.

  This role will require initiative and you will be expected to manage your own time effectively in order to meet deadlines.

  Salary is dependant on age and experience.
